Любителям флэш-игр, наверняка, знакома серия Rebuild, зомби-стратегия от Sarah Northway. Первые две части стали довольно популярны и снискали славу в определенных кругах.
Перед Вами третья часть игры (уже не флэш), главный лейтмотив которой «Sim City встречается с The Walking Dead». Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville действительно представляет из себя микс экономической стратегии (управление и перераспределение ресурсов, застройками и прочее) и zombie survival с выстраиванием отношений внутри группы и принятием важных решений, от которых зависит Ваша дальнейшая судьба. Также игра, совершенно точно, понравится поклонникам Zafehouse: Diaries, так как у этих игр много точек соприкосновения.

Суть Gangs of Deadsville точно такая же, как у предыдущих версий Rebuild. Под началом игрока несколько выживших, которых можно посылать в разные уголки города. От того, какую точку вы укажете, зависит выбор доступных поручений: работать на ферме, возводить постройки, отстреливать зомби, искать припасы и т.п. Плюс, почти каждый ход происходит какое-нибудь случайное событие.
Однако знакомый каркас оброс множеством новых деталей. Наравне с вами карту теперь захватывают другие группы выживших, с которыми можно дружить или враждовать. Раскидистое «древо технологий» дает поселению множество бонусов. Настроение теперь учитывают не для всего сообщества, а для каждого персонажа по отдельности. Постепенно вы «узнаете» детали биографии подопечных, выбирая им «перки».
В будущем между ними также начнут завязываться отношения, а среди выживших появятся не только взрослые, но и дети. Еще разработчик обещает сильно расширить комплект событий и добавить режим кампании.

It's been a few years since the zombpocalypse turned the world's cities into graveyards and sent the few survivors into hiding. Now you must gather them up and restore civilization to a ruined city, one building at a time.
Rebuild is a strategy sim game with a good helping of narrative and dark humor. It's a thoughtful game that'll make you fond of your survivors before you send them to their deaths for the greater good. As you expand your fort to new buildings, you'll decide between farms or fortifications; housing or hospitals; churches or... bars? You'll have to make tough decisions to fend off raiders, illness, starvation, and madness. And the dead are still out there wandering the streets, hungrier than ever.
Gangs of Deadsville is the third installment of my Rebuild series, and the first one available on Steam. It's a much larger scale game; in some ways I'm finally finishing the game I imagined when I started the original Rebuild 1.
