There are 4 possible values for it:
• OFF: Disables it
• 5 ROUNDS
• 10 ROUNDS
• 15 ROUNDS

If it is not disabled, you will see a new button during battles.

Dependend on your option value, it shows 5, 10 or 15 on it. Those are the number of rounds for auto battle. Clicking the button will start auto battle.

Auto battle will perform the given amount of rounds automatically. So it will pick actions for all party members with a few rules.

• If a party member is a fighter class like warrior or ranger, it will move to a target if close-ranged and try to attack if any target is in range, preferring high priority targets (strongest ones, then damaged ones, then nearby enemies).
• Healers and paladins will try to cast healing spells if necessary.
• For magician and alchemist it will continue casting the spell you picked before you started auto battle. Magicians might also automatically pick spells but only disabling spells like Paralyze if it’s valuable. Otherwise those classes won’t pick damage spells automatically. If you need specific spell combos, don’t use auto battle. So for example casting “Fire Pillar” with a Mage before starting auto battle will cast this spell every round as long as the Mage has sufficient spell points and is able to cast.
• Planned spells before auto battle are also cast for other classes, but they are not repeated each round. For example you could cast “Monster Knowledge” with a Ranger and it would be cast in the first round and in the second round the Ranger would pick some new actions like attacking.
• Items are used very limited. For example spell potions are used for healers if they run out of spell points. And health potions are used if no healer/paladin is in the group. Otherwise no items are used automatically.

If a party member dies, auto battle will be ended early.

Auto battle is mainly intended for repeated easier fights you don’t want to play over and over again. It’s just meant as a convenient feature, but you can still fight normally of course.

This is only tested a bit, so there might be issues with this new feature. Use it with care and save often! Please let me know if something breaks or is strange.
