В 2020 году интенсивные буровые работы в Арктическом регионе привели к драматическим изменениям климата и появлению особого вида мутировавших водорослей. Распространяясь по всему миру они заражали все живое и окрашивали воду в кроваво-красных цвет, в следствии чего они получили названии "Красная Смерть". Вскоре эти водоросли адаптировались и стали заражать людей. Вы - один из последних выживших представителей человеческой расы.

No Firewood is set in a post apocalyptic year 2020 where drilling in the Arctic Region for oil and natural gas by Russia, EU, and the US has spawned dramatic changes in the climate causing a species of algae to mutate. Spreading across world oceans infecting fish and animals causing mutations and rabies like symptoms and turning water red, causing this Algae to adopt the name "Red Death"... In recent years the Algae has genetically adapted and has started infecting human hosts. You are one of the last remaining survivors of the human race.

"The Survival Horror Experience that will make you never want to go camping again..."

In No Firewood you collect firewood to keep your campfire going all while collecting Weapons, Ammo, Items, Etc... Your Campfire is your only protection and source light. If your Campfire goes out or you and your fellow survivors die, then it is game over. Your mission is to complete the objectives on each map all while keeping your campfire going and warding off Infected Humans, Animals, and the Unknown...

No Firewood is not an open world game, Instead you have a variety of maps to chose from with varying sizes and different environments such as woodland, snow, swamp, urban, etc. (All themed after "Slightly Real" Locations) You can play through all of them in Campaign or outlast waves of zombies on one of them in Survival Mode.

What make's it different from other Survival Horror Games?

With no firewood we have totally re-imagined the way horror games are made. Instead of endless walking with the occasional "Jump Scare" or puzzle thrown in, we have gone for a run and gun, non stop fight for survival. Instead of the enemies in the game simply jumping out at you, they stalk you, keeping out of the light and just out of sight. You might not encounter any enemies for a while, but you will hear them off in the distance, up in that tree, down in the bushes, or even right behind you.

There are a variety of enemies in the game including multiple types of Infected Humans & Animals, and also the "Unknown". All are formidable opponents not to be underestimated. Some you may encounter frequently and some you may not. Some you might encounter while evading another. And some you will simply want to run away from...

In No Firewood you are never safe in the dark. Your flimsy lighter or flash light wont protect you long. When things get really bad you will need to make sure you can get back to your camp and that you will have a fire burning to ward off the beasts that pursue you.
