This is a very nice update :)

Camera (Reworked)
This is the largest change regarding the effort.

The whole camera system is replaced /reworked. The way how it works is completely different. With that we had more possibilites to improve other aspects of the game and at the same time the overall feeling (aim, crouching etc.) has been improved.

One of the coolest changes is that the camera will now follow your dead body.

The combination of ragdoll and slow mo is just satisfying to watch but this has also a very big gameplay value:

It´s a very big visual feedback that you were hit. In our last version the camera was not following the dead body which caused disorientation.
We have a respawn time of 4 sec. This is something that can throw you out of the flow, especially in fast paced games. We don’t want to put the player on patience but at the same time we need a respawn time due balancing, so the amusing ragdoll death makes you forget about the respawn time.

Swap Shoulders while Aiming
Now you are able to toggle the camera view from right shoulder to left shoulder while you are aiming

This is a MUST HAVE for every Third Person Shooter.

SlowMotion (Improved GameDesign changes)
We made the SlowMotion more valuable. The one who has his SlowMo/Bullettime activated is much faster compared to the other players. This gives him the possibility to avoid those bullets.

Destructible Bottles (WiP) – temporary cover

Jump while aiming is now possible.

ScoreBoard (WiP)
Optically a placeholder but it works.
Teamcolor (improved)
We improved the textures to make it easier to recognize the color of each player.
NewAssets
We reworked some assets and added new ones.

OPTION
Controller Sensitivity (WiP)
Numbers of Dead Bodies lying Around can be adjusted.

HotBall (improved)
Optical Changes: The HotBall has now this typical lowPoly Style (another reference to Supehot) and a simple Animation.
Hotball will respawn if it falls out of the map.

Grenades Available
(Finally, we have explosives :P )
+ New Animation + Particles
We had some playerwishes to implement grenades, so we created a new Animation for this. We also made two more particle effects for the explosion and for the trail of the grenade.

The Grenade is similar with the Slow Motion. The different is that the grenade ability has a cooldown and the focus needs to be fulfilled while the focus/bulletime for the Slow Motion can be used as soon as you have a little bit filled.

Ps.

Projectiles are colliding with each other as well. You can block a bullet with your own bullets ;).

MenuStructure (improved)
We did a small change regarding the menu and the maps.

After you choose the number of players, you can now choose the gamemode and after that your map.

Until yet we had 2 versions of each maps (Hotball/Deathmatch).

This method was only for the prototype and had to be reworked.

Now each map adjusts to the game mode which has been selected before.

This allows us to easily implement new game modes as fast as possible and having a better structure.
