v1.29:
• Translations - All languages have been updated once again, with mostly minor tweaks that we've received from our avid fans. This includes spelling, grammar, incorrect words, and most commonly bugs where text would go off the screen, or be gone entirely.
• Controller Support - We've fixed several major controllers that weren't working in the latest few versions (Xbox One), and updated our controller plugin which now supports even more controllers (Moga)
• Steam HUD Imprint - If you had double monitors, any Steam HUD that popped up (friends logging online, etc) would stay up on the screen, appearing like a bad glitch. This is fixed
• Changing Resolutions - We did additional fixes to this
• Additional Minor Bug Fixes
• Updated all translations, fixing various errors
• Chinese characters are displayed more clearly now, before they were blurry at certain resolutions
• Updated Mac and PC to allow the user to change resolutions (and with the mouse now)
• Additional controller support
v1.21:
• Menus for all languages are now translated
• Simplified Chinese translation has been added
• Portuguese-Brazilian translation has been added
v1.20:
• Increased Elena's walk speed by 50%
• Fixed a bug that occurred while holding space and forward- Elena would "stutter walk"
• When entering Catacombs, Elena will appear closer to the base of the stairs
• Added a glow to when Elena is scared walking, so you can see how close she is to the creatures (especially helpful in the Trophy Room inside the Mansion)
• Fixed a bug where you could get multiple Small Keys from the Conservatory
• Fixed a bug where in the dream sequences, pushing Q while possessing an object would make Elena disappear (as if the game tried to return to her human body). You'd be forced to quit and start over.
• Added Unity logo to intro because we appreciate the things they do for us
v1.18:
• We fixed an issue where sometimes Elena would not run outdoors. Thanks everyone who brought this to our attention!
v1.17:
• When outside you can run by pushing [SHIFT]. Elena disapproves if you attempt to run indoors, because we all know her parents wouldn't allow that :)
• Added Ukrainian language
• Added Polish language
• Updated French language
• We included a save point right before meeting Wortham the last time, so all you achievement hunters can load up your game after you beat it to get the remaining achievements.
• We removed the intro cinematic that played when booting up the game. Now it only happens when you start a New Game
• We fixed a bug near Fleur. You could push the dresser through the door way which would cause the door to shut on you and trap you, making it so you were unable to get back through the doorway. If this bug happened to you return to the stuck door from the right side and it should pop open.
• We fixed a bug where the mace would stay in your inventory after you gave it to the knight.
• Dialogue is fixed in some areas for English where there would be a bunch of dialogue on one page, and only a few words on the next page. It's spaced out more accordingly now.
v1.16:
• We're pleased to announce that we now have controller support for Whispering Willows. This was a heavily requested feature that we really wanted to deliver on. Whispering Willows is an adventure game that was made to be played on a couch. The game just feels right being played with a controller, so if you have one, we suggest plugging it in!
v1.15:
• The screen would go black (and stay black) when starting the game with higher end hardware. This should no longer happen.
• Cutscenes quality improved so they are less laggy and less pixelated

• As Elena, you can now switch forms while moving. You can also now interact with objects while moving!
• Game is now playable even if not logged into Steam
• Multiple resolutions are now available, instead of just one (we claimed this was fixed in the last patch, but it wasn't)
• Italian language bug fixed where if you quit the game and came back, diary and notes wouldn't display correctly
• Fixed a bug that would display the "Chapter 2" and "Chapter 3" title screens every time you entered particular doors

• Language selection was not available in game, only when starting new game- you can now adjust from the main menu, "new game," or in game menu
• Various bugs with translations are fixed including diaries & notes now displaying correctly. Some translations were also updated to include more correct phrasing
• New secret ghost added in the gardens
• When you receive a new note or diary, the wording was very close together- this is now fixed
• In chapter 4 we fixed some of the spawn points that were far away
