Faunus Fields - приключенческий рогалик с элементами RPG и симулятора фермера, где вам предстоит построить процветающую ферму, научиться создавать всевозможные инструменты, выполнять сложные квесты и победить опасного монстра!

Faunus Fields hearkens back to the days of Harvest Moon, but brings a new twist to the genre by introducing a constant threat to the player and the town the player lives in -- a beast is demanding weekly tribute in the form of crops, and if the player doesn't stop it who knows what will happen if the beast decides the tributes are no longer enough!

The game begins with you moving to a town that is threatened by a vile beast. To help the townsfolk, you must figure out a way to get rid of the creature. You are told that every farmer chips in some of their crops every week in tribute to appease the beast.

Faunus Fields is a combination of the classic farming sim with some great action RPG and exploration elements. These elements will come together to create a more exciting farming sim experience, while still allowing casual players to stick to the classic farming elements if they wish.

You will need to befriend the townsfolk in order to get their help, and figure out how to defeat the beast threatening their town!

I anticipate the game will have ~40 hours of content at release to finish up the main storyline, but with the roguelike aspects of dungeon crawling (plus some secrets I have up my sleeve) I suspect you'll actually get a lot more time out of it than that.

Faunus Fields has many unique features that separate it from other games in the genre. To list a few:
* A deep, engaging story line that continues and progresses throughout the entire game.
* Randomly generated dungeons to explore, with mini bosses and a final boss to fight. This, along with a mine and other secret areas means lots of exploration to be had!
* Multiple endings -- while you don't have to stop playing, the primary story line does end, and changes based on what you did while you played.
* The beast -- the beast that threatens the town is a persistent problem for you and your farm, ensuring that you always keep your crops growing so you can satisfy the beast.
* Two distinct paths -- whether you want to focus on farming or fighting, there are two major paths to defeat the beast.
* Engaging relationship building -- we all know that giving random items to people you don't know isn't the most exciting way to build relationships, so in Faunus Fields you need to get to know people through other ways. Take them on dates, hang out with them, play games with them, and get to know them before giving them gifts.
* Relationship perks -- fostering relationships with the townsfolk is extremely important, as they will provide permanent buffs to you and your farm.
* Many secrets to be discovered.

Gameplay
Choose your Path. Throughout Faunus Fields you will have two options to defeat the beast. Will you be the non-violent farmer who figures out a way to get rid of the beast without killing it and its minions? Or will you be the fighter who grows stronger and stronger until you are able to destroy the beast once and for all?
One or both paths can be taken in your quest, each providing a different way to play the game!

Fight your Way to the Beast. The dungeons you must fight through on your way to the beast are randomly generated, along with some fixed events and bosses in place that you must defeat on your way to the beast! But be careful, threaten the beast too much and you might find your quaint little farm is suddenly a lot more dangerous...

Build a Thriving Farm. Grow a number of crops, each providing different benefits for you along your journey. Additionally, you may sell them to help upgrade and expand your farm, as well as get the tools you'll need to defeat the beast.

Craft new Items. Upgrade your tools, expand your storage, and design your farm the way you want. Want to build paths between your crops so you can get to them faster in time for harvesting? Want to build sprinklers to free up time from watering your crops each day? Build these items and more in the workshop situated on your farm!

Get Married. Some of the townsfolk will grow fond of you as you interact with them and help them save their town. If you're charming enough you might eventually get married, making you and your farm happier and more productive!
