У каждого игрока стоит корона на пьедестале. Если корона упадет на землю - игрок проиграет. Чтобы этого не допустить, нужно построить вокруг короны защитные сооружения и орудия. Для этого нужны ресурсы, которые вы можете получить транспортируя их с шахты на склад. У шахт и складов тоже есть специальные объекты на подиуме, которые тоже нужно защищать.
В режиме Изобретений вы можете создавать новые механизмы и защитные строения, которые потом можете использовать в одиночной игре, мультиплеере, или в режиме песочницы.
Brick Inventions is a physics based strategy/building game. Basically, you have a large variety of different blocks which you can place in the world to build almost everything you can imagine. The special feature of the game is that every single block has physics - everything you build can be destroyed completely.
Strategy
In the game, each player has a crown on a podium. If the crown falls to the ground, the player loses the game. To prevent this from happening, you have to build defenses and weapons out of blocks. This requires resources, which you get by transporting resource-blocks from a producer to a warehouse. Each producer and warehouse has a special object on a podium (like the crown). If such an object falls to the ground, the producer/warehouse loses all of its upgrades.
Inventions
Since everything is created out of blocks, it may take long to build things that are more complex. The Inventor-mode enables you to create your own inventions out of bricks, which you can save and then place in singleplayer-, multiplayer- and sandbox-games like any other block. Invent a new machine, more efficient weapon or more powerful defences - the better your ideas, the better are your chances of winning a multiplayer game or mastering a challenge in a singleplayer game.
Single & Multiplayer
Brick Inventions offers both a singleplayer- and a multiplayer-mode. The singleplayer-mode consists of different levels, each featuring a different kind of challenge. The multiplayer-mode enables you to play against players all over the world. In order to win a game you do not only need to have a good strategy, but also powerful inventions - defend your crown and shoot down those of your enemy.
Sandbox
The sandbox consists of a large map with infinite resources. In this mode, you can build and destroy everything you want since sandbox-maps can be saved.

Balancing:
Level 2: The last platform is now lower so that it is easier to complete the level.
Level 2: Player has more materials available now.
Level 3: Set minimum height from 50 to 40m.
Level 4: Placed the structure nearer to the build-area of the player to make it easier to complete the level.
Fixes:
Tool-shortcuts now also work when the build-menu is open.

Performance:
At this point, I cannot provide system requirement but the game should run fine on computers with at least a dual core with 2.0Ghz and a graphics card with at least 512MB RAM. The performance of the game is mainly CPU-bound (due to heavy physics calculations - the faster the CPU, the more blocks can be simulated). The game is not optimized yet and the performance will get better in future versions (especially with PhysX 3.3 in Unity 5).
Other things:
In some places the GUI isn't optimal at the moment (for example: increasing/decreasing the speed of the accelerator-block with buttons). These things will be improved once the new GUI system of Unity is out (which should be the case in the next few weeks). The old system is a bit complicated and I don't want to waste time on programming my own solutions if I can do the same thing in a fraction of the time.
Although I try to keep the quality of the game as high as possible, please also bear in mind that the game is still in alpha and that bugs can occur. If you find a bug, please contact me so I can fix it as soon as possible.
