Since our last update we have been trying to fix more of the bugs. Furthermore, we have added new sound-effects and animations to the game. One of our main objectives during for this build was to create a release without any game breakers. We think we have accomplished that!

The biggest thing in the update is the new world! This world has 3 new levels with new textures and props! The sound-effects have been updated as well. The towel-slap should sound brand-spanking new! The super-soaker, ice-bucket and the guests have sound-effects now as well! The result-screne will play sounds depending on your succes or failure. We added a timer that will let you know when the day is about to end. oh, almost forgot, buttons make sound when you click them.

And there are a few bug-fixes as well, some small, some big, You can find them in the list of bugfixes!

Pool Party Panic - version 0.4.29
Hi everyone! we got a new version of Pool Party Panic!



We added some new animations to the game. the guests will swim inside the pools instead of just walking around!

The chairs got an upgrade too, the guest now have an sit animation when they decide to relax. The guests and the lifeguard now have an animation when they exit the slide. This animation actually caused some bugs, but we fixed those after some work.

The lifeguard has new animations for using a bucket of ice, applying sun-block and picking up objects and dropping them. Using your whistle will now trigger an animation, so now you know you used your whistle when you play with the sound-effects all the way down.

We added new models for the pool chairs. they look more in place compared to the old one. We thought it would be a nice touch to add a countdown at the beginning of the game, so we did that.

There are a lot of bug fixes too. The main fix was the game-freeze at the end of a level. It had something to do with the nav-mesh of guests. We had some trouble triggering the bug in the editor and we couldn’t find it in the logs. so this was a hard one to find.

It seems the game-freeze bug is stil there…. We will look into that one asap, just like some other bugs that have emerged

We changed a couple of other small things, like the difficulty of some levels.
