Since the last update, here are the updates:
Inventory effects now match the player elevation
Majority of walls can be destroyed
All melee weapons now either break or reflect projectiles
Companions have a lot more health
Flare gun blast radius has been increased
Modified the in game interface so it doesn't sway like crazy
Enemies can no longer move when they are off screen, which makes it easier to keep track of them
Enemies no longer walk into the player spawn room anymore
Item descriptions are only shown when previewing the item
Almanac now only shows items that are discovered
Added simple achievements (Forgot if they work or not, will fix if they don't)
Added cheats category in the settings menu, offering the option to discover all almanac items, reset achievements and factory reset
Items like Adderall, Healthy Cookie and Chocolate Bar and others, can now be stacked.
Ill try and setup a simple updater/launcher for the game, so that re downloading or using the itch.io app wouldn't be necessary.
Game crashes when entering the library, ill fix that as well.

Adjusted armor offsets to better match the animations

Elevation system added, walking over an alternate floor type causes a character to rise a bit
Added a basic dialogue, the Shop is the only thing using this
Navmeshes were adjusted and updated, so enemies and companions follow it accurately.
All characters that move around follow the same mechanic as the player (this includes enemies and companions)
Shops no longer drop items that aren't fully implemented
Shop can now drop consumables
Shop items now display the description before you buy
A hit overlay is added when the player takes a hit
Added another layer of sound to the character hits (More bloody)

Enemy bosses now have a different movement behaviour

The default ammo box now gives ammo for both guns carrying, but at half the amount for each

Shop rooms are tinted green
Boss rooms are tinted red
Hidden rooms are tinted gray

Trigger fingers: Turns non automatic weapons, into fully auto
Blue cheese: Fire rate is higher the lower your health is
Moldier blue cheese: Movement speed is higher the lower your health is
Scroll of Exploration: Reveals hidden rooms on the minimap
Cinder Blocks: Less knockback from your own guns, and hits
New armor:
Antiplode, grants invulnerability to explosives and fire
Scruffy balaclava, makes the player immune to slowdowns caused by alternate floor tiles
New build:
Thief, spawns with a knife and a balaclava
Build changes:
The knight build now spawns with a sword instead of a shovel
The boomstick build now spawns with the Antiplode shirt
The boxer build is removed, and is replaced by the thief build
Some builds will now cause specific types of guns to spawn more often (Melees, Explosives, Bullets, etc)
Item changes:
Book of Wisdom is no longer required to pickup scrolls
Bigger Bullets is no longer required to pickup Explosive Ammo
Fixed recursions attribute (Banana Pupai now actually works)
Fixed visibility attribute (Glasses also work, causes the vignette to decrease in effect)
Some items are now stackable, notably the Cupcake
Generator changes:
A long hallway is no longer generated on every level
A room is generated instead, with one sign with simple explanations
Desert tileset can now spawn a 3 by 3 room with only ammo boxes
Boss room only opens when all normal enemies are killed
Ambient occlusion is a different color depending on the tileset
Jelly Hunter Extreme, is a game where you run around and shoot stuff, collecting pickups and various types of guns through a total of 8 tilesets in the hopes to defeating the Jelly Monster, all with a bit of humor.
This game started development in august of 2016, and it has been worked on every now and then. And it has reached a point where its a very fun and exhilirating game to play, so I decided to post it here in hopes that it can get accepted. This is also my first serious game.
Heres a list of the current features implemented in the game :
• Raycast based weapons, Projectile weapons and Melee weapons. Within this there are Shotguns, Pistols, Laser guns, Swords, Rocket launchers and more. You can view all the weapons in the game using the Almanac. There is a total of 58 weapons in the game.
• Almanac, this allows you to view all of the items, guns, and armor available in the game.
• Generator and Rooms. A system where the entire level is generated with customizable rooms. Some levels have hidden rooms, shops and hidden shop rooms.
• Items and Consumables. These can be found by looting enemies, presents, bosses or buying them from the shop. Normal items stats are always active, and consumable items are only activated when you press Space. There is a total of 45 items.
• Armor, which can be equipped to provide player modifiers, gun modifiers, and chances to reflect or block damage.
• Shields which can block melee damage if you face an enemy.
• 5 distinct enemy types. Normal clone, Sniper clone, Shotgun clone, Eye monger (which charges), Tower and Boss clone.
• 8 different tilesets. Dungeon, Sewer, Grasslands, Desert, Castle, Library, Catacombs, Snowlands.
• Leveling up system, which balances the drops in the game based on the player level.
• Minimap, so you know which rooms have been explored and havent, and where the chest rooms are in.
• Companions that follow you and shoot enemies with you.
• Challenge rooms, which are initiated by a button press. These give you random loot.
Heres a list of features that are planned :
• Loading a game using a seed
• Rebindable controls and support for controllers
• Coop (and maybe online coop/versus mode)
• More enemies, items, guns and armor (content)
• Cutscenes for when loading levels, finding a boss, finishing the game and starting it.
• Loops
• Staircases, which allow for a level to have multiple optional floors
• More language variety
• Rooms that requiring solving a puzzle to pass through it.
• Support for modding guns, items, armor and game mechanics using json files and custom code
