Mythoria is a strategical fantasy card game for PC in which two players battle each other by summoning fantastical creatures and casting fierce spells. The game features a single-player campaign along with a quickplay mode and multiplayer capabilities including an online lobby.
The goal in Mythoria is to conquer the game board. This is achieved by summoning creatures onto the seven slots on the game board. As soon as any player controls seven creatures, he/she wins the match. Before a match can begin, however, players must have selected seven cards out of their collection to play with. These seven cards are referred to as a hand. Players may alter their hand any time between matches.

At the beginning of a match, a coin is flipped to randomly determine between players. The winning player must then choose between mana advantage and morale advantage. The losing player gets the remaining advantage. Mana advantage grants the player one extra point of mana. Morale advantage grants the player half a point of morale. This means he/she will always play first in situations where morale would otherwise be tied.

Each turn begins with both players taking a casting phase, starting with the player who has higher morale. Each player gains one point of mana at the beginning of their own casting phase. Cards can be played at this phase. This phase ends as soon as the player in turn summons a creature, runs out of mana or ends the phase voluntarily. After both players have taken their casting phase, there is a joint combat phase. Starting with the player who has higher morale, the players take actions with their summoned creatures in consecutive turns until all creatures have taken an action or both players have skipped their turn in a row. A new turn begins right after combat phase.
