Moved by Darkness aims to be a love letter to classic black and white cinema. With a heavy emphasis on using the composition to tell the story, players will frequently witness cinematic sequence harkening back to films akin to Black Sunday, City of the Dead or Haxan, just to name a few.

I'm a huge fan of the old FMV days , yeah I know, most of those games were crap, but there were a few that did a memorable job with it. Ahhh...Nostalgia... I will be using FMV and practical effects in the game to tell the story.

Keep in mind, that I've only been working on this for 2 weeks in my spare time and there are just massive amounts walls, etc. that don't have collisions and some bugs. For example, if you run and fire the shotgun, sometimes, the force will send the character flying into the sky. I haven't spent much time modeling or texturing anything really and I haven't spent anytime fixing any of this due to the fact that I would really like to gauge interest the overall concept and feel of the game. I would also appreciate some feedback about the black and white presentation. Do you like it? The game is fully color, but at the moment I'm experimenting with black and white. I really like the feel of it, but I would be nice to hear what you think.
