Graywalkers: Purgatory — это первая из серии непредсказуемых стратегических и тактических пошаговых ролевых 3D игр, действие которых происходит в стильном сверхъестественном постапокалиптическом мире, где Небеса, Ад и Земля смешались друг с другом в одном событии под названием «Излом».

В этой игре вам отведена роль предсказанного в пророчествах предводителя Обитателей Сумерек (Graywalkers), 36 Незримых, путь которых пролегает по границе между светом и тьмой. Перед вами стоит задача собрать их всех вместе, объединить раздробленные земли Чистилища под одним флагом и возглавить войну за возвращение власти над миром в руки людей.

Graywalkers: Purgatory is the first in a series of Emergent, Strategic, and Tactical Turn-based 3D Role-Playing Games set in a stylish supernatural post-apocalyptic world, where parts of Heaven, Hell and Earth have merged together in an event called "The Rupture".

The game is inspired by a combination of features from classic XCom, Jagged Alliance, and Fallout, then mixed in with the Emergent Strategy features of Mount & Blade. Together, this creates a unique RPG experience that is Graywalkers: Purgatory.

In this game, you play the prophesied leader of the Graywalkers, 36 Hidden Ones who walk the line between the darkness and the light. It is your task to gather them all, unite the chaotic lands of Purgatory under one banner, and lead the war to reclaim the world for humanity.

Custom Hero – Your player character is a special one, even among Graywalkers. He is customizable, where you can choose his or her gender, race, appearance, path, skills and special abilities.
Races – You can be Human or one of the Hybrids, like the Cambion, Nephilim, Dhampir, Wolfkin and Hunterborne.
Character Paths – "Paths" are the equivalent to classes in typical RPGs. Choose a path to take such as the magic-wielding Arcanist, the weapon master Armsmen, the stealthy Agents, the spiritually blessed Diviners, the firearms expert Soldiers, the hand-to-hand specialist Martialist, the perceptive Scouts, the versatile Adventurers, the intelligent Techs, and the lucky Survivors.
Recruitment – Find, convince and recruit your Graywalker team members from a pool of at least 50+ playable NPCs, each with their own style, personality, motivation, relationships and history.
Levels & Experience – Gain experience points through missions and improve your characters skills and abilities each time you level up.
Strategic Management – Manage your resources, personnel, influence, technology, research, crafting and scavenging.
Exploration – Explore a country sized island with different regions, each filled with interesting locations to visit, scavenge in, influence and control.
Strategic Bases – Find and capture strategic points that can act as base of operations where you can rest, recuperate, rearm and reorganize. Defend these operational bases from attacks and prevent enemies from retaking it from your control.
Resources – Scavenge for resources, rebuild lost technology, recover ancient relics of power, and research entirely new technologies that fuse the powers of ancient magic and known science.
Crafting – Many things you find in the world are useful in that they can be used to build certain things. To create more exotic items, you need to have the blueprints or formula for it and the needed skill sets.
Vehicles – Acquire vehicles to increase your speed of travel between locations on the map and carry more equipment--or maybe even use them in combat.
Enemies – Encounter many kinds of enemies such as zealot cultists, rival gangs, dangerous criminals, demons, fallen angels, feral vampires, rabid werewolves, zombies, ghosts, witches and other supernatural creatures of legend.
Combat Choices – When in combat, you can choose the quick and easy Strategic Combat or the down and dirty Turn-based Tactical Combat.
Strategic Combat – Resolve combat quickly and automatically especially when fighting enemies you know you can overwhelm.
Tactical Combat – Control up to 6 characters per team, and have multiple teams working in concert to execute tactical maneuvers against many or more powerful foes.
Special Abilities – Each character has a list of special abilities which are dependent on his Race, Path and Style.

1. Added new graveyard level. Game now has a Scenario Select screen to choose between the first
level (Demon Hellgate Assault), and the new level: Necromancer Cult Assault.

2. Added new error message prompt: cannot reach target. Used if target is not within movement range
(for close combat attacks).

1. Now, if you selected a buff or support ability like Heal, clicking on a squad member portrait will
target them (while clicking on an enemy will do nothing).

If you selected an attack and clicked on an enemy portrait in the turn order panel, it will select
them as the target (while, likewise, clicking on a party member will do nothing).

If you're not initiating an attack/spell, it's only then that clicking on a portrait will select them.
If you single-click on a portrait, the camera will only center on them. To select the target,
double-clicking on their portrait.

10. Fixed bug where game was trying to check to-hit chance of a unit that was already dead.

1. Added dodge penalty to Large Demon due to being a large unit.
2. Further lowered movement range of all units.
3. Removed line-of-sight requirement for heal.

XCom, Jagged Alliance, Fallout? Ишь ты, куды замахнулись! Жаль только, подавляющее большинство таких попыток достичь славы бессмертных хитов заканчивается ничем.
