Version 1.1.1:
This update fixes specific problems playing on Windows: the time played was not being counted, and Retrobooster was launching in the background in Big Picture Mode. After updating, these behaviors should be fixed.

There are also some tiny improvements to game controller menu input and some sound fx. And a small bug was fixed that you probably never encountered because it was very rare.

Version 0.9.1:
Added Alt-F4 key command to quit game. It’s useful for when your boss walks by.
The game now saves automatically each time you beat a level. There are six save game slots available.
You can now only get a high score when beating the final level. This fits well with the save game features.
In single-player games any attached game controller will now work, so you don’t have to select your controller in the Controls menu.
Game controller menu navigation has been improved in various ways.
The game is paused when its window loses focus. This is helpful if your operating system opens a window on top of your game for any silly reason.
Overhauled sound effects. They now have better relative gains and many sounds stand out better.
Many cosmetic tweaks, including some work on fire particles.

Version 0.7.8:
New in-game interface. Text is bigger and easier to read on small screens. Everything is a bit flashier.
New ship model. The new model is 20% bigger for visibility and difficulty tuning. It’s sexier too.
Expanded the tutorial and Levels 1 and 2 in order to better teach some game mechanics.
Added rumble support for game controllers. My Logitech controller still isn’t rumbling under Windows for some reason, but it works under Linux. Need to work on that.
Ship integrity and shields are now restored when you beat a level.
Dolly-zoom effect added when spawning a new ship.
In co-op games, all players now share the same score.
Sound effects pause when game is paused.
Plenty of cosmetic tweaks and gameplay tweaks as usual.
Made humans more interactive.

Version 0.7.5:
Bug fixed: Fixed crash that would occur sometimes when starting a Deathmatch game.
Bug fixed: Mouse was spinning ship too fast at framerates below 60Hz.
Bug fixed: Shield energy could go below zero, so gaining shield energy would have no apparent effect.
Fixed lighting on humans. They were unlit by dynamic point lights before.
Gave humans flashlights and signal flares so they are easier to spot on small screens.
Made humans smarter so they flee from enemies and debris that might crush them.
Rebalanced difficulty settings, score multipliers, and rate of token distribution to give out more tokens.
Added “brute force” score multiplier when ramming enemies to death.
Updated OpenSceneGraph to version 3.2, removing some deprecated OpenGL slow-path code.
Upgraded from SDL 1.2 to SDL 2.0.
Mouse now ignores acceleration in Windows and controls rotation linearly. If you thought the mouse control was finicky before, try it again now. (This was never a problem in Linux.)
Made major changes to the rendering pipeline. Best performance improvements for multiplayer games.
Added anti-aliasing choice to Settings menu.
Better depth cueing to help distinguish foreground from background.
Added customizable menu navigation buttons to USB game controllers.
Shader optimizations.

Version 0.6.5:
Bug fixed: Terrain tile warping was distorting some terrain in strange ways. This is mostly a cosmetic improvement.
Bug fixed: Invalid shaders were sometimes causing an ugly first frame when starting a new level.
Bug fixed: Fixed rare crashing bug (only saw it about once every 3 months during development).
Heavy remodeling of Level 4 to introduce some better flying challenges.
Reduced enemy weapon damage values and increased amount of enemy fire.
Added mini tokens that restore 10% of health or shields.
You cannot be crushed by small enemies anymore, only larger ones that do not appear in the demo version.
Automatically switch to Ion Bolts (default weapon) when other primary weapon runs out of ammo. Good idea, Derek.
Added splash damage to most explosions. Made a few exceptions so, for example, player’s missiles do not destroy one another.
Score multipliers are now increased by doing damage and destroying enemies. Before they were only increased by destroying enemies.
Added visual and audio feedback for score multipliers so that you know if you are about to go up or down a notch.

Version 0.6:
There are some bug fixes and improvements to many systems in the game, but there are no major gameplay changes. Retrobooster is still very much in beta and progressing smoothly. Here is the complete list of changes:
Bug fixed: Fixed crash caused by missiles colliding in deathmatch games. Thanks for the report, Nick.
Bug fixed: Data directory was not created properly in some Linux desktop environments.
Bug fixed: In Co-op game, pressing fire to launch a ship would exit level if another ship had already exited.
Bug fixed: First level was not always being unlocked.
Bug fixed: Fixed rare premature level exit.
Improved terrain following algorithm for all walking enemies, such as Thumpers. They now creep around sharp corners more reliably without falling off terrain as much.
In deathmatch, other players’ missiles now target you after you spawn a ship instead of before.
Removed end-of-level bonuses from Deathmatch games. The current set of bonuses don’t make sense in the context of Deathmatch competitions.
Refined art pipeline, improving some art assets and boosting performance about 10%.
Refined terrain tiles and many other models.
Added more depth to levels; the added parallax helps distinguish the foreground from background.
Added fullscreen switch to Settings menu.
Animated shootable buttons.
Now high scores are recorded for any player that earns one in Co-op games instead of only Player 1.
Added multiple high score charts to differentiate between solo, cooperative, and various difficulty levels.
Improved GUI navigation with arrow keys.
Removed “ramp” sliders for joysticks, as they have not felt useful on any sticks tested so far.
Added workaround for bizarre fullscreen window clipping behavior when using DPI scaling in Windows Vista, 7, and 8. Nice discovery, Joe.

When evil aliens invade the galaxy, it is up to you and your fleet of decommissioned starfighters to drive them back. Pilot your humble thrust ship through tense battles and tight spaces. Hone your piloting skills, rescue survivors, blow up gobs of baddies, witness the horrors that lurk in the darkest corners of the galaxy, and make it out alive.

Retrobooster is a 2.5D survival shooter and cave-flyer, focusing on skill-based flying and enemy blasting. It combines old school gameplay with contemporary graphics and audio. Retrobooster also has speed-flying challenges, various weapons, puzzles, juicy monsters, a warped sense of humor, and a healthy dose of bullet hell action. Survive to the end if you can, and use your new flying skills to replay for high scores.

Да это же как "Sub terrania", вот только по стилю sub terrania гораздо круче, не смотря на временной промежуток с этой игрой в 20 лет!
