• This update focused on adding detail to the map, to do this we placed a huge amount of rocks, ice formations, broken trees and other natural details. But we are not done with the map yet, the next update will keep on adding details and locations to the map.

• Tweak: the attack distance of the dogs on offensive mode was increased a little.

• Gameplay: Secondary menu added to the interactions menu of dogs that are not in the sled (dogs that are following you), now you can command them to stay in one spot, follow you, enter defensive mode or enter attack mode.
• Gameplay: Defensive and attack mode will determine wether the dog looks for nearby animals to attack or waits till a hostile animal is attacking him or the player.
• UI: MANY radical changes to the menus/UI, the overall feel and style is much cleaner and optimized.
• Added: Many color correction effects to the camera, making the overall look of the game more colorful and live.
• Changed: Health/nutrition/hydration indicator style.
• Fixed: Annoying bug where when on the interactions menu of a dog /stove or bed you can still see the option to interact on your screen.
• Fixed: Bug where you could not interact with the fourth dog when he is not tied to the sled.
• Fixed: Wrong screen ratios/button placement for some menus, mainly the inventory menu and dogs interactions menus.
• Gameplay: Now dogs can leave the sled and follow you when commanded to do so in their interaction menu.
• Gameplay: Dogs that are untied from the sled can hunt small animals, ATM : ducks and rabbits.
• Gameplay: Dogs will defend/attack at will when faced with bigger animals (Boars, wolves, bears)
• Gameplay: Dogs will not attack these animals : stag, fox.
• Gameplay: Only one dog can be untied from the sled and follow you at a time.
• Gameplay: While one of the dogs is not tied to the sled you will not be able to use it.
• Gameplay: Boars and wolves health stats have been modified to balance the addition of attacking dogs to the game.
• gameplay: Now you can place/pack a mobile stove, meaning you can now cook and start a fire everywhere you go.
• gameplay: added a sleeping bag, you can also pack/place this item from you inventory located in your tools, just like the mobile stove.
• gameplay: Now standing near a fire will affect how many calories you spend not only when you are sleeping but now also in real time
• gameplay: Now when harvesting meat the indicator that shows how much meat you got will show while you are skinning the animal
• Fixed: One of the safe houses was missing colliders, this is now fixed.
• Fixed: You could open your inventory with "Tab"but you could not close it using the same key, this is now fixed.
• Edit: the hotfix is up and now you should be able to start a new game with no problems, sorry to anyone who could not play because of this mistake
• Minor Fixes.
• Its a mini update which adds some holidays spirit to the game (you will see what I mean once you play it. Also a death screen has been added, so now when you die the game gives you the option to go back to the main menu, this screen will also display how many days you managed to survive. Oh and the option to disable the whistle sound FX has been added.
• Wildlife: added rabbits!
• Wildlife: Deers now give more meat when skinned
• Sled: New sled control mechanics, W will signal your dogs (By whistiling) to run and S will signal then to stop, you will not have to hold W anymore,
• Dogs: Dog traits! when creating a new game you will be able to choose a special trait for each dog ATM: Swift / Endurance / Tank / Hunter, these traits will affect how fast the dog runs, how much calories or energy he spends, how much damage he can make in an X ammount of time and how much damage he takes, also how long he can go without eating.
• Gameplay : invert mouse Y option now available in the pause menu!

• shooting/hunting: now you can retrieve arrows from dead animals

• dogs: now dogs restore part of their energy depending on the amount of hours you sleep

• Map: added some kind of interior (furniture,trash) to 75% of the abandoned houses
• Map: fixed most of the houses that look like they were dragged by snow
• Sleeping: you can now sleep/save your game in abandoned cars
• FX: added a small wind fx to trees, their leaves will now move
• FX: added a wind sfx
You must find a way to survive in an extremely hostile winter environment, you will not be alone, 4 loyal dogs and a sled will be there to help you move faster around the terrain. Scavenge for supplies, take care of your needs and the needs of your dogs, hunt or be hunted. A new glacial period has begun... will you adapt or die?
This is a perma-death game, once you die you have to start over and your save file is deleted.
